World Champions Return to Athletic Bilbao

Athletic Bilbao has welcomed back three of its players who participated in the 2026 World Cup. Unai Simón, Aymeric Laporte, and Nico Williams returned to the Lezama facilities on a day off for the rest of the team.

The three footballers underwent the necessary physical and medical tests upon their return. This activity took place before they rejoined their teammates for training.

According to reports, Edin Terzic, the coach of Athletic, will have these World Cup reinforcements available for the next training session scheduled for Tuesday. These additions are considered strategic for the team.
